    Career and Technical Education (CTE) Career Cluster and Program Affiliate Grant

    Deadline: July 30th

    • Description: The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Career Cluster and Program Affiliate Grant supports the development, implementation, and expansion of CTE programs in Maryland. Grant funds support affiliate partners that work with MSDE to provide professional learning, develop content and curriculum resources, support related Career and Technical Student Organizations, convene Statewide Program Advisory Committees, offer continuing professional development credits, and support articulated or transcripted college credit for CTE students.

    Edward J. Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant

    Deadline: July 31st

    • Description: Byrne Justice Assistance Grants support a broad range of state and local criminal justice initiatives critical to Maryland’s ultimate goal of safe communities. Funds are intended to reduce existing gaps in service that impact violent crime, crime victims, enforcement, prosecution, adjudication, detention, and rehabilitation.

    HUD Youth Homelessness NOFO for FY2024 and FY2025

    Deadline: August 10th

    • Description: HUD will make awards to selected communities to support them in establishing and implementing a response system for youth homelessness or for improving their existing response system. HUD will select approximately 49 communities for YHSI grants. Under the YHDP, HUD will provide funding to communities to implement housing and supportive services projects. HUD anticipates selecting between 26 and 50 communities, with a priority for communities with substantial rural populations in up to sixteen locations. Separate from this NOFO, technical assistance will be available to assist selected communities implement and improve their YHSI and YHDP projects. HUD expects communities to fully participate in any evaluation activities conducted by HUD beginning no earlier than the award announcement.     Reminder: Executive Director Recruitment Announcement HSC

    The Executive Committee of the Caroline Human Services Council (HSC) is pleased to announce that recruitment has been established for the position of Executive Director.

    The Executive Director serves as the liaison between the Caroline Human Services Council Board of Directors, the Governor’s Office for Children, community partners, funders, and stakeholders. The position plays a critical role in advancing the Council’s mission of improving outcomes for children, youth, families, and communities throughout Caroline County.

    The Executive Committee will oversee a comprehensive recruitment process to identify a qualified candidate with demonstrated leadership experience, strong organizational and fiscal management skills, and a commitment to collaborative community engagement. Interested applicants are encouraged to review the position announcement and application requirements. Additional information regarding the recruitment process, position qualifications, and application procedures will be made available through the Caroline Human Services Council.
